Fountain City Natural Gas System Improvements
Contractor crews are scheduled to begin natural gas system main replacements on the following streets in in the Fountain City area early July: Martha Berry Drive, Grove Drive, Mynatt Road, Edonia Drive, Walkup Drive, Grove Park Drive, Gresham Road, Ridgewood Road, and Peyton Place. This work will require lane closures in the immediate areas where crews are working. Construction is scheduled to last in this area through February 2020. Regular updates will be posted as construction progresses.

August 2, 2019 UPDATE
Contractor Classic City Mechanical installed new natural gas main on Grove Drive, from Martha Berry Drive to Mynatt Road this week. Crews also conducted potholing work on Mynatt Road and Grove Drive. Next week, crews will finish potholing work and being installing the new natural gas main on Grove Drive, starting at Martha Berry Drive and progressing east to Colonial Circle.
