Holston Hills Natural Gas Main Replacement Project
Project Description: Beginning in mid-May 2019 and lasting through February 2020 KUB will upgrade the natural gas distribution system in the Holston Hills area. See attached map for affected streets. Vehicle traffic is advised to expect temporary delays during daytime working hours in the immediate area where crews are working. Appropriate traffic control measures, including signs and flaggers, will be in place as needed. Access will be maintained to businesses and driveways, and all lanes will reopen to traffic outside of work hours.

August 2, 2019 Update
Contractor East Tennessee Pipeline crews conducted cleaning and pressure testing on the new main installed on S. Chilhowee Drive. Pending successful testing, crews will fill the pipeline on S. Chilhowee Drive with natural gas next week. Pressure testing will also take place on E. Sunset Drive next week.
