Community Advisory Panel

KUB exists to serve our customers. Our customers are diverse, and we strive to make decisions that meet their needs as we deliver on our mission to provide safe, reliable, and affordable utility services.

KUB’s Community Advisory Panel was established in 2020 to seek input from our customers on key policy matters that impact them and to share that input with KUB’s Board of Commissioners. The panel’s members represent a diversity of viewpoints, experience, and expertise. Click here to learn more about the Panel members. 

Community Advisory Panel members include: 

1. Representatives of low-income communities
2. Environmental protection advocates
3. Representatives of neighborhoods served by KUB
4. City of Knoxville representatives
5. Representatives of the business community

Beginning with the Aug. 5, 2021 meeting, Community Advisory Panel meetings will be held at KUB's Larry Fleming Operations Center; 835 E. Jackson Ave. Knoxville, TN 37915. For the safety of meeting attendees, all current COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.

The panel meeting schedule is provided in the table below. To sign up to address the panel, please call 865-594-7331 by 5 p.m. the day before each meeting. Individuals with disabilities who require an accommodation in order to address the panel may contact us by email at execdept@kub.org or by telephone at (865) 594-7331. Please request accommodations at least 48 business hours in advance of the meeting you wish to attend.
