KUB exists to provide utility services that are safe, reliable, and affordable; however, its mission is about more than pipes and wires. It's about being good stewards of the environment and the communities’ resources while safeguarding those resources for generations to come. KUB is also committed to being good stewards of customers' dollars and meeting their needs. KUB is grateful to be Knoxville’s hometown utility, and looks forward to continuing to help the community grow in the years to come.

Privacy Policy

KUB takes customers' privacy seriously. Under the Tennessee Public Records Act (Tennessee Code
Annotated, 10-7-503), however, KUB must release some customer information to Tennessee
citizens who request it. KUB does not, however, release Social Security numbers or financial
information. KUB does not release customer specific energy and water usage data except for aggregate
monthly billing information. KUB also does not release any information on customers who bring a valid
protection document to a KUB Customer Service Center.
