Time of Use Rates

KUB's new Time of Use rate is all about the timing.

If you use most of your energy late at night or on weekends, or you could easily do so, Time of Use rates could be right for you!

KUB's Time of Use Electric Rate Program offers rates that vary based on the time energy is used. Energy used during on-peak hours has a higher rate. Energy used during off-peak hours has a lower rate. Since 83 percent of time is off-peak, some customers could save money by switching to Time of Use rates. And since that energy use is more evenly distributed, the environmental impact is lowered.
